Welcome to the official webpage of Shady Ladies Softball. Shady Ladies Softball was started in the Spring of 2008. The Shady Ladies currently field a B team in NAGAAA's Softball Austin Open Division.
The Shady Ladies C team was the first team in Softball Austin history to win a Gay Softball World Series Championship and also the first team in Softball Austin history to bring back a trophy from the annual NAGAAA Gay Softball World Series. After starting 2-8 in their first season, the Shady Ladies C Team won 99 of their next 111 games for a combined all-time record of 101-21 in NAGAAA play!
The Shady Ladies C team are the Softball Austin Spring 2008 End of Season Tournament 2nd Place Winners, Softball Austin Fall 2008 Regular Season Champions, 2009 Dallas Drillers Tournament Champions, Softball Austin Spring 2009 Regular Season Champions and End of Season Tournament Champions, 2009 Texas Shootout 3rd Place Winners, 2009 GSWS C Division 3rd Place Winners, Softball Austin Spring 2010 Regular Season Champions, 2010 Texas Shootout Champions, and the 2010 NAGAAA Gay Softball World Series Champions!
In their first tournament after moving up to the B division, the Shady Ladies B team won 3rd Place at the first annual Bourbon Street Classic in New Orleans in December of 2010!
The Shady Ladies followed that up with a strong 7th place finish at the Saguaro Cup in Phoenix in April of 2011. The Shady Ladies finished tied for 29th place in their first World Series in the B division in Chicago of 2011.
In 2012, the Shady Ladies won first place in B at the Houston Lonestar Classic and tied for 5th at the Texas Shootout in Austin. At the 2012 Gay Softball World Series, the Shady Ladies finished tied for 13th in Minneapolis and look forward to Washington, DC in 2013.
So far in 2013, the Shady Ladies tied for 13th place at the Sin City Shootout in Las Vegas and are off to a 4-0 start in the Softball Austin Spring 2013 Season.

Shady Ladies C Win 2010 GSWS, D Team Finishes 17th In First GSWS
The Shady Ladies C Team took 3rd at the 2009 GSWS and brought back Austin's first trophy in GSWS history. They immediately set a team goal to go back in 2010 to win it all and that's exactly what happened! Way to go Ladies!!!
After a lot of hard work and dedication in the off-season, the Shady Ladies D team took first place in Austin to advance to their first ever GSWS and represented Austin and the Shady Ladies very well with a 17th place finish.
